Discover the latest IFCO innovations in sustainable packaging and learn how IFCO expertise is bringing the circular economy to the banana supply chain.
Bananas are a simple and nutritious snack. However, transporting them is anything but easy. Just like every other industry, the banana supply chain is having to cope with increasing scarcity of resources as well as the impact of climate change.
In this recording of our free IFCO webinar, we provide a concrete pathway to hitting your sustainability goals and to bringing efficiencies along the entire banana supply chain — from plantation through to point of sale. Presented by Michael Meierhöfer, IFCO Vice President Sales, New Market Verticals, and the company’s go-to expert on the banana supply chain.
IFCO Vice President Sales, New Market Verticals
Michael joined IFCO over ten years ago and has experienced the global fresh grocery supply chain from multiple perspectives and regions, including North America, Latin America, and Europe. Today, he oversees several important functions, most notably IFCO’s global center of excellence for the design and development of new products. Previously, he was primarily responsible for establishing professional key account management at ATLANTA, where he was the Managing Director Sales & Marketing.
IFCO has made a firm commitment to design out waste and create a sustainable fresh grocery supply chain. Our reusable banana packaging, the Banana Lift Lock, helps eliminate single-use packaging from the industry and promotes sustainability and automation in the banana supply chain. Through this free webinar, we hope to inspire others in the industry to adopt a similar approach and mindset.
